For security leaders

Your security stack can't see the phone call.

MFA is solid. Email is filtered. Endpoints are locked. Then a phone call walks straight past all of it, because voice is the one channel you still cannot verify. Karnā verifies the call itself.

No call recording · no voiceprint stored · no endpoint agent

Two calls, same blind spot

The attack runs both directions.

Whether the attacker pretends to be your employee or pretends to be your IT team, it works for the same reason: nobody on the call can prove who is really speaking.

Scenario 01 · Impersonating the employee

The caller they let in

  1. Someone calls your help desk, sounding like a locked-out employee, using a real name and a plausible story.
  2. They add urgency. The agent has no way to confirm the voice belongs to that employee.
  3. The agent resets MFA to "help." The attacker is now inside.

The reset is handed to a stranger.

→Karnā proves who is really on the line before the reset happens.

Scenario 02 · Impersonating IT

The code they give away

  1. Someone calls an employee or admin, saying they are from IT and need to verify the account.
  2. "Read me the code on your screen." The person trusts that IT is asking.
  3. The 2FA code is read aloud, willingly. The attacker approves the login.

The code is given away, not stolen.

→Karnā proves an inbound IT call is genuine, so no verified notice means no trust.

How Karnā closes it

Verify the call, both directions.

Karnā proves the call is genuine without changing how your people work. It integrates into what you run today. It does not replace it.

Prove the call is realKarnā Trace
When IT legitimately calls an employee, a verified notice appears in the app. No notice, no trust. People are trained to hang up and call back. This stops Scenario 02.
Prove the person is realKarnā Ping
An inaudible cryptographic challenge confirms the person on the line mid-call, so a help-desk agent knows who they are actually talking to. This stops Scenario 01.
Nothing that trips wiretap or BIPABuilt for compliance
Device-agnostic, works on cell. No call recording, no voiceprint stored, no endpoint agent, so it sidesteps the legal triggers that stall voice projects.

Out-of-band · No recording · No voiceprint · No agent install · Integrates, not replaces
